This technique has remained unchanged since the Renaissance times and the tools and methods used are similar, if not the same as those used by artisans during the reign of the Florentine Medici family. This particular subject depicts two nuns with two school children and they are flying a kite on a windy day. The stones of the kite are a mix of chalcedony and green jasper from the Tuscan hills.
