RETURN AND REFUND POLICY
We want you to love what you order so if there is something wrong with the item(s) you receive, or you are dissatisfied with your purchase, please let us know.
All Pierotucci products are made to withstand normal wear and use, however if you are concerned about your purchase, we encourage you to contact our offices so we can answer your questions.
Pierotucci products are:
made in Florence, Italy by skilled Italian artisans and we use 100% genuine Italian vegetable-tanned leather (VERA PELLE ITALIANA)
Each item is carefully crafted and undergoes a stringent quality control. Small imperfections in the leather are a natural occurrence since it can vary in color and texture due to the tanning process. These are not considered defects, but rather a natural characteristic of the leather.
The Pierotucci craftsmen and women are available for repairs or customizations, even after years of use. If during the lifetime of your purchase you require spare parts, buttons, zips, straps or buckles, please contact our Customer Service Office, providing a photo of your product and we will try to assist you.
Note: Pierotucci strives to ensure that the item colors shown on the website are as as close to the real colors as possible. Every effort has been made to accurately display the color of the leather you are viewing. Differences in computer monitors, internet connections, and the processor in your computer could cause colors to appear in shades or tones that are not accurate. Even if all monitors displayed the same colors, due to the nature of leather tanning processes there are slight differences between batches of leather we receive from the tannery.
If precision in color selection is important, it is recommended that a photo of the item to be shipped is requested.
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
You have 10 days from the date of delivery to notify us via email and we will help you make the return/exchange process as easy as possible. Any product which you have notified us of that you want to exchange or obtain a refund, must be returned to us within a maximum of 30 days from the date of delivery.
Due to strict Customs regulations into Italy DO NOT send anything back without getting specific shipping information from the Pierotucci Customer Service Office.
Please contact our Pierotucci Customer Service Office via email at firstname.lastname@example.org indicating your order number, the item code and the reason for your decision. A Pierotucci representative will contact you by email with the instruction on how to process your return/exchange.
Pierotucci reserves the right to refuse items sent without our prior authorization.
The item must be returned in a new and unused condition. Pierotucci defines "new and unused" to mean that there are no scratches, marks, or blemishes on the item; there are no signs of wear on the product, and the product must not have been sized or altered in any way. We cannot accept a return of any item with any indication that it has been used.
All items properly returned under this policy are eligible for a refund or a store credit. If you choose a refund, the full purchase price (original shipping costs & customs taxes excluded) will be credited when Pierotucci has received and processed your return. Typically, all credits are processed after the item is received by Pierotucci. We will email you when the credit has been submitted to your credit card. Credit card companies vary in the time it takes for a "credit" to appear on your monthly statement. Please allow one to two billing cycles for the refund to appear on your statement.
SPECIAL ORDERS, MONOGRAMMED OR CUSTOMIZED ITEMS
Orders which include a special request item, monogramming or are customized in size, color, etc. are not eligible for return or exchange. Regarding orders for Porselli ballet flats: please be advised that all Porselli shoes manufactured by customer request are non-refundable and orders cannot be changed or cancelled once confirmed.
All items discounted more than 20% will be eligible for an exchange or credit but NO REFUND. All exchanges will incur new shipping charges.
DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS
If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact our Customer Service immediately (within 48 hours from delivery). Please indicate your order number, the item code and if possible a photo of the damage or defect. Pierotucci will make every reasonable effort to replace the item in a timely manner.
If there is extensive damage to the carton, refuse the package and contact our Customer Service immediately. Please have your order number available when you contact Customer Service. In the case that the damaged package was accepted, (though we cannot guarantee the shipper will cover the complaint), it will help our case: Please keep all of the shipping material and photographs of the damaged package, this is for insurance purposes with our shipper.
Replacement for damaged or defective items items will be shipped from PIEROTUCCI back to the customer at no additional cost.
