Accessories are made using an ancient technique called wet forming, also known as "Cuoietto Fiorentino" - a process that is used to mold a piece of vegetable tanned leather into a desired shape. The technique involves modeling wet leather using a wooden mold on which the leather is dried. Once dry, only natural pigments are painted onto the leather by hand.
